this song is about the god complex one possibly acquires when working as a photoshop editor for a "men's magazine". Those people work magic. They make some of the most hideous women look beautiful. You do that long enough, you see the fatal flaws in all the most desireables, eventually you start to think "you're hideous without me". You become desensitized to it. You don't think anyone's beauty is real anymore.
